1. Our Company 1.1.   What is RMTemplates.com? RMTemplates.com is the premier provider of ready-to-use templates, and Bossiness card 1.2.   Do you offer custom design services? Yes. We offer customization services for templates on our site as well as custom designs from scratch. 1.3.   I would like to have a template customized. What do I need to do? Please contact us via our online contact form. Be sure to provide the names of the templates you would like customized, as well as a detailed description of what you would like changed on each one.

2. Ordering 2.1.   How does online ordering work? Ordering from our website is easy! Simply click on the Add to cart button to add the template you are viewing to your cart, or click on the Buy now button to instantly purchase the template. 2.2.   How long does it take for me to download my order? Download links to your templates are sent to you by email as soon as you pay. It generally takes no more than 5 minutes for you to receive the email. 2.3.   So if I buy a template from you, I can get it instantly? Yes, download access is instant. After completing your purchase you'll be sent an email containing download links to your templates, as well as your customer account details. Simply click on the links in the email to download your templates, or just log in to your customer account. There are no annoying waiting periods or calls to to verify purchases. 2.4.   How can I pay? We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, E-Gold, and MoneyBookers. We also accept cashiers checks, money orders, and Western Union by mail. 2.5.   I didn't receive an email with download links from you. What should I do? If you have an account with us already from a previous order, log in to your customer account and click on "View Orders". This page will let you to see all orders under your account and will also let you download the templates you purchased. If this is your first order, check your email account's spam folder (if you have one). Some spam filters are oversensitive and may accidentily label the email receipt as spam. If your spam filter deleted the email automatically, adjust your filter's settings and contact us to have your receipt resent to you. If you still cannot receive your email receipt, please contact us with an alternate email address. 2.6.   I lost all of my templates. How can I download them again? Log in to your customer account and request a download extension for one of your previous orders. Once the extension has gone through, you can download the templates from that order. 2.7.   I'm having trouble ordering from your site. What can I do? Please contact us and let us know. We will look into the issue and arrange an alternative way for you to order. 2.8.   How can I view prices in my own currency? At the top right of the page you will see a drop down menu where you can choose the currency in which prices are shown. By default, all prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Note that if you select a currency other than USD, the prices you see are estimates based on the most recent currency exchange rates. At the time of purchase, you will be charged the USD amount (shown in parentheses on the ordering pages).

3. General Template Questions 3.1.   When I purchase a template, what exactly will I be downloading? After making a purchase, your template will be made available to you as a ZIP archive file. ZIP files are "archives" in that they contain other files, and are usually compressed to not only save disk space but also speed up file transfers. "Unzipping" utilities are used to extract and decompress the files contained in a ZIP archive, and are available on all operating systems and computer architectures. 3.2.   Will these templates work on Mac OS or Linux? Yes. All of our templates will work on any computer/operating system, including Mac OS and Linux. If you are using Mac OS X, you can open the template ZIP files with the built-in Archive Utility. For older versions of Mac OS, use StuffIt Expander. For Linux and other platforms, use the free unzip utility. 3.3.   Can I change the pictures, photos, etc. that are shown in your templates? Yes, you can change any of the pictures shown in our templates. For most of the images, such as small photos and pictures, you can simply swap them out for your own images. For other images, such as those integrated into the design of the site, you can use an image editor such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop to change them.

4. Website Templates 4.1.   What is a website template? A website template is basically a premade web page, similar to other kinds of templates you may have come across (such as document templates in a word processor or a greeting card template). The template includes a complete layout with graphics, but does not include any text. 4.2.   Why would I need a website template? Creating an effective web design can be challenging and even too time consuming in some situations. It's possible to pay a web design firm to create your design, but this isn't an option for everyone due to the high costs involved. However, by using a website template, you get the benefits of a design made by real design professionals at a fraction of the time and cost. Simply choose the design you want, purchase it, and start building your site immediately. 4.3.   I develop websites for my customers. Can I use your templates? Yes, you can purchase templates from our site to build sites for your clients. This is ideal for designers who want to provide quality work to their clients at a lower cost. Please note this is subject to some restrictions. Please read our Terms of Use for more information. 4.4.   What comes with each website template? Each HTML website template includes: HTML files This is the actual template written in HTML. There may be one or more of these files depending on the number of pages the template includes. Unlike many other sites, our HTML files are not generated by third party applications. These generated HTML files are usually very hard to work with and are very inefficient. Instead, our HTML files are hand coded by our expert designers and HTML programmers to be as efficient, easy to work with, and compatible as possible. JPG/GIF images These are the images that make up the template. They can be edited using any image editor, such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop. PSD file(s) These are the original, layered Photoshop source files for the template. They can be used to further customize the template using Adobe Photoshop (version 6.0 or higher recommended) or any other application that can open PSD files. Fonts package This is a package containing all of the fonts used in the template, in addition to several extra fonts. The number next to Included Layouts indicates how many different layouts come with the design. Some designs may include a layout for your site's home page as well as a layout for site's subpages, while others may include just one layout for all pages on your site. If you purchase a HTML or Flash/HTML template, you can have an unlimited number of pages on your site. You can, for example, make several copies of a template's subpage layout, one for each page on your site. A short guide explaining this procedure can be found here. 4.6.   I need to add more content to a template's subpage than what is shown in your preview. Will the template fit to my content? Yes. Unless otherwise specified, all layouts included with XHTML/CSS, HTML and Flash/HTML website templates will expand vertically to accomodate any amount of content without becoming distorted. This means the design will look great all the time, even if you have thousands of lines of content!

6. Business card Templates 6.1.   What is a business card template? A business card template is a high-resolution layout for a business card you can customize and print. 6.2.   What size are these templates? They are the standard business card size (3.5"x2.0") with a 0.25" border to allow for bleeding. All business card templates are created at 600 dpi. 6.3.   Can I print these out on my home printer? Yes. For best results, we recommend printing on photo paper or business card photo paper. 6.4.   What comes with each business card template? Each business card template includes: TIF image This is a high-resolution TIF version of the template, useable in any image editor. It does not include any text. PSD File(s) These are the original, layered Photoshop source file for the template. We recommend using these over the TIF image if you have an application that can open PSD files. Fonts Package This is a package containing all of the fonts used in the template, in addition to several extra fonts.
